The mission of God is and has always been a global endeavor. We partner with several organizations globally which share our mission to live for the glory of God and the good of the City by extending hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Jacob's Well is committed to generously investing in gospel centered efforts around the globe to help local leaders fulfill their mission and calling. We are currently investing in the following groups and/or individuals.
Helping Out
- Churches Helping Churches - Churches Helping Churches is a global partnership of church communities who seek to rebuild other churches in the wake of a catastrophic natural disaster. We have partnered through CHC with other church communities to serve our brothers and sisters who are suffering around the world. CHC was founded in early 2010 following the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit Port-au-Prince, Haiti on January 12. During 2010 we gave 10% of our offering to serve churches and pastors in Haiti. We continue to give to the ongoing work of CHC.
- Rev Gabriel Kisanga, Democratic Republic of Congo - Gabriel Kisanga works with Dynamic Church Planting International to plant churches in central Africa. In January 2011 we began investing in his labors in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rev Kisanga is engaged in pastoral/theological training and church planting throughout francophone Africa.
- Mr. Eric Harkness, India - Eric will be working with the dalits (untouchables) in the great nation of India. He is working on holistic community development with the International Development and Educational Associates (IDEAS) and OM India. Eric's work will be to see transformation occur physically, socially, intellectually, and spiritually in the lives of forgotten and overlooked peoples.
