Community Meditation Questions

  • In what areas of life have you been an idiot? If that question is too uncomfortable ask it this way: In what areas of life do you need more practical wisdom? Finances? Friendships? Career? Relating to Authority?
  • Where have you observed something get ruined by “a little folly?”
  • What are some of the practical consequences when “idiots rule the world?” Who is a leader either now or from history that you respect as being wise and helpful to the people they lead?
  • Are they areas of sloth/laziness of which we need to repent?
  • How does the gospel, ultimate wisdom, free us from fear and give courage to tackle life day to day with practical wisdom?
