God is God: The Missional Confirmation of the Gospel
Our Three–fold Conversion
- Gal. 5:13-14; 6:2
Their Story, Our Story
Missional living confirms that God keeps his promises to bless the world by saving and sending his people into everyday life. The OT confirms that Israel did not receive life because it failed to live on mission in the land.
Faithfulness in mission remains the condition for life with God. Now, through the finished work of the Messiah, God grants eternal life to those who trust Jesus in order to live transform lives and extend the hope of the Gospel to others.

Growing in Knowledge
- Living on mission confirms that God is God. What does this mean?
- How does God fulfill his promise to bring blessing to the world?
- Understand the OT storyline between YHWH and Israel, using Lev. 18:5, Ezek. 20:10-13, 18-21, and Neh. 9:29. How does this story end?
Feeling Life Deeply
- Does living faithfully on mission feel essential for eternal life with God?
- How does the death and resurrection of Jesus relate to the need for transformation in our relationships and engagement with the people and places around us?
Living with Courage
- Obedience links relationships with others to the worship of God. Pick one of your everyday relationships (spouses, children, roommates, co-workers, etc.) and schedule intentional times to invest in them more deeply.
