Community Meditation 

Growing in Knowledge

• You already know enough, today will be mainly about feeling and obeying/living. To prime our hearts for change and action read together 1 Thessalonians 5:12-14 and some of the parallel teaching in Romans 12:3-17.

Feeling Life Deeply

• How do you feel following leadership? Are you more rebel, cynic or do you naturally follow?
• In verse 14 we see we are called to admonish, encourage and help one another? Why do we like help and encouragement and not admonishment (warning, urging, counsel) in our culture? Why would it be bad for us to never receive this?
• Does not returning evil for evil make you feel like someone’s punk? How can God help you to seek to good to others, even when they do you wrong? In what ways did Jesus model overcoming evil with good?

Living with Courage

• Are there leaders in your life you do not esteem, do not love and never thank? What would repentance look like for you?
• Are there people in our community where your flow ain’t right with them? What would repentance look like here?
