KNOW
- Consider Paul’s image of “ambassadors for Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:20). What makes an effective ambassador? List as many things as possible. What types of things would make an ambassador unsuccessful? How is that relevant to our call to be thoughtfully engaged?
FEEL
- Do you consider Christian faith an issue of highest priority for yourself and others? If not, why not? If so, does your engagement with others (or lack thereof) suggest otherwise? Why might that be?
- Read 1 Peter 2:9-12 and 3:14-18 again. In what ways does the Gospel provide motivation for our thoughtful engagement according to these passages?
LIVE
- Evaluate yourself, your MC, your family, your group of Christian friends according to the categories of Like/Unlike/Engaged. Where are you strong? In what ways could you more fully embrace these categories?
