Day 1- Read 1 John 2:7-11

  • What word or phrase stands out to you? Express to God why that is.
  • Consider who you been taught not to see. What would it look like to demonstrate love to them?

  • Who is Jesus according to this passage?
  • How does this passage give you confidence to go before God today?

  • How are you waiting on the Lord?

  • Jesus reads this passage at the beginning of his earthly ministry. How have you experienced the healing, liberty, comfort, and joy of the good news?

  • The love of God was demonstrated in the self-giving sacrifice of Jesus. As sacrifice brings new life, consider what you might need to give up in order to love others well.
