DAILY OFFICE

Read Revelation 21:1-8 each day

Meditate on this passage this week and consider one of the following questions each day.

Day 1: Heaven comes to earth in this scene (not vice versa). What personal significance might that have for you?

Day 2: Consider the image of the church as the “adorned bride” of Christ. What stands out to you about that image?

Day 3: Focus on verse 4 today. Which word or words stand out most to you in this verse and why? Pray those thoughts back to God.

Day 4: Focus on verse 7 today. What does “conquering” look like in your life right now? Pray that God would sustain you in that struggle and affirm your status as His child today.

Day 5: Consider the list in verse 8. What convicts you most about this list and why? Pray a prayer of confession to God as a response to that conviction.
