Reflection + Discussion Questions

1. Read: Read Psalm 42 aloud together. Be attentive to the ways in which the Spirit might be calling struggles, sin and/or needs in your own life to mind through the Psalmist’s words.

2. Respond: List 2-3 struggles, sin and/or needs that came to mind from this Psalm and bring them to God in prayer. Be honest and specific as you pray.

3. Listen: Now slowly read the Psalm again (to yourself), expecting God to respond to what you’ve just prayed. What might He be saying to you through His word today? Share at least one such response with your partner.
