Equip

• Read aloud the texts from Sunday. What do you remember most from the teaching? Discuss what stood out to you as you read through the passages.

Encourage

• We discussed on Sunday that our grace toward others flows from the grace that God has extended to us. Share with your DG how God has extended grace to you in your life. Be specific. If it is true that “every good and perfect gift is from above”, then this should help us to acknowledge God’s active grace in our own lives.

Challenge

• We have been talking a lot about the importance of living out what God has called us to in community with others, whether that is making career decisions, relationship decisions, etc. This also applies to how we use our finances. If you’re willing share with one another how you make budgeting decisions. How do you decide how much you will give to the mission of God, to whom you will give that money to?

• How can you give of yourself (time, talent and treasure) in a way that could break down social, ethnic, racial or economic boundaries? What could a “community of grace” look like in your context? Be specific and brainstorm with your DG strategies in which you could join in God’s cosmic plan to bring about a new creation where “there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave or free, male or female (fill in the blank)”, but just “one in Christ Jesus”.
