Learning to walk in wisdom is a lifelong pursuit which begins with a respect and awe for God. Jesus desires for us to take a different path than the world around us when it comes to the gifts he has given to humanity. The Hebrew proverbs of our Old Testament teach us the following: 20 Wisdom cries aloud in the street,in the markets she raises her voice; 21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: 22 "How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge? Will we listen? Or will we hate? In our day God's good gifts of sexuality, language and alcohol have been contorted, abused and perverted from their designed intent. Join us this January as we listen to the wisdom of God regarding lust, language and liquortown.
