Discipleship Guide and Reflection Questions
Reading this week: Luke chapters 11 and 12
- Questions for Reflection/Discussion:
ENCOURAGE:
- Consider Luke 11:2, the first words of the Lord’s Prayer. What is significant about the word “Father”? Explain.
- What does it mean to you that God is your father?
CHALLENGE:
- Reread the Lord’s Prayer at the beginning of chapter 11. Think through each line. Has any of this become too familiar? What stands out to you, and how might you fight against the monotony of the Lord’s Prayer?
- Many of us struggle with anxiety. Read Luke 12:22-34. How might Jesus’ words bring comfort amid anxiety and fear. Be specific, what does it look like for you to ask God for help in the midst of anxiety?
- Discuss how you’re progressing with your “Rule of Life.”
