Know
- We fret often because we forget too often. What are some things about God’s character and his promises do you often forget? Take some time together to number some attributes of God’s character and his promises. Hint - lots in your gospel class notebook.
- How would remembering these things help situations mentioned in Psalm 37:1
Feel
- Do you tend towards worry or anger when evil seems to prosper? Or both? Read Jonah chapter 4. What is God asking Jonah about his fretting and anger?
- What’s the difference between fretting and a right anger?
Live
- What evil doing do you fret over? Political stuff? Family stuff? Office stuff? Broken world stuff?
- How can you respond to these verbs “Trust, Do Good, Dwell, Befriend, Delight” in Psalm 37?
